Your neck at six p.m. is a search term.
Many Ways to Move is a library of recorded Awareness Through Movement lessons - the Feldenkrais Method, on audio. You lie down on the floor and a voice guides you. And you find your lesson by describing what is going on: the search reads full transcripts, not titles.

Or begin from a situation - every card runs a real search
The whole lesson fits on a patch of floor.
A patch of floor
You need the space you take up lying down, and something under your head. A folded towel does fine. No outfit, no warm-up.
A voice, recorded live
Every recording comes from a live class. The voice says what to do and what to notice. The movements are small and slow - lighter than they sound.
Then you compare
Afterwards you stand up and check. How you stand, how you turn. Usually something is lighter. Which thing - that can't be ordered in advance.
One lesson, laid open.
Every lesson in the archive is transcribed, sectioned and timestamped. That is what the search reads when you describe your situation. Here is one, the way the archive sees it.
The breastbone discovers, the ribs roll

An archaeologist, not an architect
The lesson's central metaphor: don't design what the breastbone should do - discover what it already does. Walking in slow motion, then quicker, as a way of looking.
-
10:22
A hand to the ceiling, the breastbone sideways
Lying on the side, one arm straight up. Watching the habitual deal between arm and breastbone as the chest turns.
-
22:25
The ribs roll under the hand
The key distinction: usually the hand moves around the ribs. Here the ribs roll under a still hand, like a cylinder along the floor.
-
45:48
Both arms up, the pelvis joins in
On the back, arms toward the ceiling, palms together. Arms and pelvis travel together, then in opposition - same-side and cross patterns, explored.
-
53:40
The uni-or-cross game, walking
Standing and walking with alternating instructions: same side, or across. Which strategy arrives on its own, and at which pace.
Some lessons are free.
A few lessons from the catalog play in full, no account asked. They change from time to time. The floor is the only requirement.
The free shelf is being restocked. The catalog is open to browse in the meantime.
The catalog is invited, not open.
Every lesson here was recorded live, by a teacher invited by name. The shelf grows slowly, on purpose. You can read who the teachers are and what listeners return to.
